Frequently asked questions
What does skippr cost?
No setup, license or monthly fee. Each order carries a €0.10 ordering fee, which Nexi deducts directly from your payout. You can pass it on to your guests as a separate item – then all that stays with you is the VAT on it, around 1.6 cents. On top of that comes the card payment fee from Nexi – at our favorable partner rates. A tablet is all your team needs.
Can I connect skippr to my POS system?
There’s no direct POS integration yet. skippr runs independently alongside your POS, and you get all transactions as a CSV export for your accounting.
What hardware do I need?
One tablet per station is enough. For pickup, you need a little space on the counter or a shelf – we’ll help you set it up.
How do payouts work?
Nexi processes all payments for you. After deducting the transaction fee and the ordering fee, the amount is transferred to your account within 2 to 5 days.
How do my guests find skippr?
Place your skippr QR code where guests can easily see it. For ticketed events, it helps to let guests know in advance. We’re happy to advise you.
Can skippr handle tips and deposits?
Yes. Both are part of the checkout.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in the EU, GDPR-compliant. We don’t collect any contact details from your guests.
Who is skippr not right for?
We built skippr for bars with big crowds. If the personal bar experience is part of your concept, skippr probably isn’t the right fit.
