Ordering system for beer gardens. Your bar can do more.
More sales on every sunny day: your guests order and pay via QR code at their table, no app needed, and skippr plans the work at the bar and in the kitchen. Your team handles up to 60% more orders per hour.*
- No fixed costs, no minimum revenue
- With or without a POS
- Temps up to speed in under 10 minutes
What’s in it for you
More sales on every sunny day. Same team.
When the sun comes out, you’re not short of demand – you’re short of capacity at the bar. skippr gets more orders out of the same bar, and every extra order comes without extra staff costs.
+60%*
More orders per hour
Identical drinks are made in one round, and nobody takes payments at the bar. The same bar handles a lot more.
More rounds per table
Guests reorder from their table without lining up again. People who don’t have to wait are more likely to order another round.
€0
Fixed costs, no minimum revenue
No setup, license or monthly fee, and no minimum revenue. You only pay when your guests order.
< 10 min
Temps up to speed
Your team always sees exactly the next task. Even a first-weekend temp is up to speed quickly.
An example for your bar
If your bar handles 60 orders per hour at peak times, up to 60% more means up to 96.* Over four busy hours on a sunny day, that’s up to 144 more orders. You know best what an order is worth to you.
Why beer gardens get jammed
In a beer garden, the weather decides when it gets busy. And when the sun comes out, everyone shows up at once.
-
The sun comes out, everyone comes out
A sunny afternoon fills the tables in no time. The line at the counter grows faster than your team can pour.
-
Self-service means waiting in line
Ordering, paying, waiting: it all happens at the same counter. Every order that gets paid for there slows down the bar.
-
New temps every weekend
In peak season, lots of people help out, often only for a few days. Anyone new needs a clear instruction on what’s next.
How it works
How skippr runs in your beer garden
Your guests stay seated until their order is ready. Your team works through a queue that skippr sorts on its own.
-
01
QR codes on the tables
Every table gets a skippr QR code, plus a few at the entrance and the pickup point.
-
02
Order and pay at the table
Guests scan, order and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Deposits and tips are part of the checkout.
-
03
skippr plans the bar and kitchen
Taps, bar and kitchen each see only their own orders. skippr batches identical drinks, lets your team prep ahead and keeps every station busy.
-
04
Push notification to the phone
Guests find out when their order is being prepared and when it’s ready. Until then, they stay at their table.
-
05
Pick up with a scan
Guests collect their order with a single scan at the pickup point. For alcohol, your team checks their age at the same time.
-
06
Deposit back with a scan
When guests return their glass or stein, the deposit code from their order is scanned. The deposit is refunded to their card.

Run your beer garden live
Whether the sun comes out or a keg runs dry: you adjust skippr in seconds.
-
Set up stations freely
You decide which tablet sees which orders: drinks to the bar, food to the kitchen, draft beer and long drinks together or separate.
-
Pause and switch off
If it gets too busy at the pickup point, you briefly pause new orders. If the pretzels are gone or a keg is empty, you take the item off the menu.
-
Prices in one click
An after-work price on weekdays or a special for the big game: you change prices instantly, without reprinting menus.
-
Sales and stock in real time
You always see what’s been sold and what’s left. That way, you notice early when something is running low.
-
No guest gets forgotten
You decide how many orders skippr may move up at most. That way, every order reliably moves forward.
-
Every transaction on record
Sales, deposits and tips are stored with their own transaction ID and can be exported for your accounting.
Winter too: winter beer garden, mulled wine stand or Christmas market – when it’s cold, nobody wants to wait in line. skippr works there just the same, and in months without orders it costs you nothing.
Setup and tech
Quick to set up. With or without a POS.
One tablet per station, a little space for pickup and an internet connection. That’s all skippr needs at your bar.
1 tablet
per station
Setting up on site means: put the tablet down, set up the pickup point, give your team a quick briefing. We come by for your launch.
Your menu, set up together
Most of the prep goes into your digital menu. We set it up with you beforehand, so on site it’s just setup and a short briefing.
With or without a POS
skippr runs alongside your POS, and guests can keep ordering at the counter if they like. If you don’t want to take payments there at all, skippr also runs on its own.
Important: internet at the pickup point. The tablets need a stable connection, ideally via Wi-Fi. If it drops, no new orders arrive in that moment. No solution yet? Get in touch: we’ll help you choose the right provider. The connection itself isn’t part of skippr.
We’re here for you.

FAQ: skippr in beer gardens
What ordering system works for a beer garden?
One that fits self-service. In a beer garden, you need a system where guests order and pay at their table, without an app, and only get up to collect their order. That’s exactly what skippr does, and it also plans the work at the bar and in the kitchen. No fixed costs, no minimum revenue, €0.10 per order.
We’ve tried mobile ordering before. What’s different about skippr?
Most systems just show your team a list of orders. skippr plans the work behind the bar: it batches identical drinks, lets your team prep ahead and keeps every station busy. On top of that: no setup or monthly fee, no minimum revenue, no minimum term and no app for your guests. skippr runs alongside your POS or, if you don’t want to take payments at the bar anymore, entirely on its own.
Do my guests need an app?
No. They order in the browser, with no app and no account. Guests agree once to receive push notifications. On iPhone, Apple requires them to add skippr to their home screen for this; on Android it works right away.
Do you bring orders to the table?
No. Guests collect their order at the pickup point as soon as it’s ready, and get a push notification when it is. If table service matters to you, get in touch and we’ll look into it together.
Can guests still order at the counter?
Yes, if you want them to. skippr runs alongside your POS. You can also switch entirely to skippr and stop taking payments at the bar.
How do deposits work?
The deposit is part of the checkout and charged to the guest’s card. When they return their glass or stein, the deposit code from their order is scanned and the amount is refunded. Every deposit transaction shows up individually in your export.
What if it suddenly gets packed?
That’s exactly what skippr is built for: identical drinks are batched, and your team always works on exactly the next task. If it still gets too busy at the pickup point, you briefly pause new orders and open up again afterwards.
Can food and drinks run separately?
Yes. You set up stations and decide which tablet sees which orders. Food then only goes to the kitchen, drinks to the bar. For each station, you set your own rules, such as what gets batched and how far ahead skippr looks.
How quickly are new temps up to speed?
In under 10 minutes. Your team always sees exactly the next task on the tablet instead of sorting through a pile of tickets.
Does skippr work in winter too, say at a mulled wine stand?
Yes. skippr works wherever guests order and pick up: in a winter beer garden, at a mulled wine stand or at a Christmas market. Since there are no fixed costs, skippr costs you nothing in months without orders.
How much lead time do we need?
Not much. You receive the partner agreement and the Nexi contract. Most of the time goes into your digital menu, which we set up with you beforehand. On site, all you need is one tablet per station and a short briefing for your team. Best to get in touch before the season starts.
